Monza attempt to bring Vieri out of retirement

Monza are attempting to convince Christian Vieri to end his retirement.

The 35 year-old former AC Milan and Inter centre-forward did his preseason with Blackburn Rovers, but so far hasn't decided about continuing his career.

Lega Pro Monza are desperate to boost their attacking options and are seeking talks with Vieri's management about a return to football.
