Melbourne Heart head coach John van ‘t Schip is clearly excited about the club’s debut season in the A-League.

The 11th club in Australia’s domestic competition is set to kick off the 2010/11 season with a home clash at AAMI Park against the Central Coast Mariners and the Dutchman is looking forward to it all getting started.

“After 10 months of being here and working together with all the people to build the club, it's time to kick off," he said.

"For the last seven or eight weeks we've had the preseason and training with the boys so it's time to start playing."
