Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is upset over claims they're not big enough for Celtic winger Aiden McGeady.
McLeish blasted claims a move to St Andrews would be a step down for the Celtic winger.
Big Eck, who failed with an £8million bid for McGeady said: "No, I don't see it as a step down, not in the Premier League.
"I don't want to talk about certain players, but we know players that want to go to the Premier League from Scotland.
"Whether or not it's Celtic or Rangers, whether it's Arsenal or Birmingham, these players know we are progressing as a club and there's no finer league in the world."

'Stupid fuckers' is it? *****...The fairs cup, also known as 'the runners up cup' AND you wanker, its was not later to become European cup/Champions league, rather the Uefa Cup nugget brain. Also, team places were by invite, not earned ok chump?..look it up before having a haemorage. So, in conclusion, your an foul mouthed idiot.
OK...it seems some brum fans are lacking simple brain function, some cant even debate without throwing in more vulgarities than adjectives, some may not even know what an adjective is :) ! Right Spuddy, try to read things in 'context' son, do you understand that concept?? I specifically said in the EPL, do you think Celtic would still have Samaras and Hinkle if that were the case? Clown! They would be operating with a far higher budget..try to think before laugh for in the end, the joke is on you. Anyway. One reason I think why the old firm wont get into the EPL - and I think rightly so - is religious bigotry. If that baggage was disgarded like the belief in a non-existent 'god' they would represent an attractive package. Truely, the difference between the fans is the shirt they covet. (Give or take the odd riot notwithstanding)
Celtic over Arsenal..... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA funniest thing I heard in years!
Even if Arsenal were relegated and offered no money, I think Messi would still prefer to play for free than to play alonside the likes of Samaras and Hinkel.
As for liking to see Birmingham with Celtics budget, well, it might be worth looking over the last 10 year span.. or even 5 year... I'm sure you will see Celtic have outlayed more than Birmingham. Try looking through their current first team, most are either freebie's or under £2m.
Celtic are without doubt a bigger club, but I they are certainly no more attractive to play for. As a pro player myself, I would only choose one to go to (I am neither a fan of them or from that area). This is not down to money either, but mainly down to the point that they are such a well run club. Celtic on the other hand, seem to be going the wrong way. Too many bad decisions made both at board and management level.
