Midfielder Terry McFlynn will return to Sydney FC’s line-up for today’s clash with the Central Coast Mariners.

The Northern Ireland enforcer is back from injury and will fit straight into Viteszlav Lavicka’s starting eleven that will take outright top spot if it can overcome the Mariners.

Sky Blues defender Simon Colosimo said the return of McFlynn is important for the team, as was the availability of Swiss defender Stephan Keller.

"Terry plays with his heart and soul - you know he'll give everything," Colosimo said.

"What we're finding this year is that every team is fitter and stronger and every team works hard - and he's our best example of that. He balances the midfield really well.

"Stephan's available again, so the gaffer's got a little bit of a headache again, thank goodness. We're not just plugging holes, he's got some decisions to make selection-wise.”

Sydney host Central Coast at the Sydney Football Stadium today – kick-off is at 3:00pm AEST.
