Marseille president admits trying for Chelsea striker Drogba

Olympique Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier admits they were serious about bidding for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba in the summer.

Dassier admits there were boardroom squabbles over their transfer policy.

"We even tried to bring in Drogba, but this has not been possible," Dassier said. "We'll see, you should never give up in life. "
