Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney admits teammate Michael Owen had him bouncing off the walls after his wonder goal against Argentina in 1998.

“An unbelievable goal and so was my celebration,” says Rooney, who was then 13, laughing.

“At the back of our house there was a youth club that had a five-a-side pitch and as soon as the game ended I went out to play. I wanted to score a goal like that, wanted to re-live the moment.”
