Man Utd's Owen: Capello has never snubbed me

Manchester United striker Michael Owen has revealed how Fabio Capello has NOT been snubbing him for his England squads.

Owen said: "I have never given up on England - ever.

"But I can tell you I have been in virtually every preliminary squad. I've been in the 26 many times. I get a letter through every time saying I'm in the 26.

"I've been injured for a couple of squads and I've been playing in a team that's been struggling but I know just from being in those preliminary squads and getting those letters that Fabio Capello is keeping an eye on me.

"He need not have bothered even sending a letter to me but there has been communication - and that's why I think I will play for England again."

Yes you are right..it is too early for owen to be thinking about england..he first task is to stay fit and then pocket some goals.this will be a very testing time for owen.so lets wait and see
