Man Utd trump Arsenal for Swansea kid Matthews

Manchester United have trumped Arsenal for youngster Adam Matthews.

The Sun says United have wrapped up a deal to sign 17-year-old Welsh wonder Matthews.

Sir Alex Ferguson's champions have nipped in ahead of Arsenal to take the Cardiff defender to Old Trafford.

Matthews, who has made 12 Championship starts for the Bluebirds, will complete his move when the transfer window opens in January.

United will stump up £5million with further payments to follow as the Swansea-born player progresses through their ranks.

Agger, I agree with you.
But you should not be too harsh on your club.
Just because you have Fernando 'mixed genes' Torres does not excuse you naming your club Ladyboyspool.
