Man Utd midfielder Fletcher: Fergie hairdryer still shocks us
Darren Fletcher says Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson can still lose it with his players.
Fletcher believes the United chief has lost none of his desire to carry on fighting for glory.
"I think Sir Alex has mellowed a lot, to be honest," he told the News of the World. "It's still very scary when he gives you the hairdryer but speaking to the likes of Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, they will say that he has definitely calmed down over the years.
"The foreign players are now the ones who get the real fright because they've never experienced anything like that before in their careers. There have been a few occasions in the last few years when the manager has gone off on one and it has shocked them more than us.
"It's great looking at some of their faces and expressions when he has just walked out of the dressing room after giving us a volley. It's priceless.
"He still wants to carry on winning things and still has that edge about him."
