Man Utd keeper Amos happy working with senior teammates

Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos is delighted to be part of the squad's tour of the US.

Amos is enjoying working with senior keepers Edwin van der Sar and Tomasz Kuzszak.

He wrote in his blog for "Working with Edwin and Tomasz is fantastic for me and I learn from them every day. It was nice for the manager to come out and give me a public vote of confidence over the summer [and say I’d be part of the first team set-up this season] and it’s up to me to deliver now. He’s put his faith in me and I want to pay him back.

"It’s quite a young squad on tour, but there’s so much we can learn from the senior players on the trip. Even just being around them and seeing how they handle themselves helps us, especially the foreign lads who haven’t grown up at United.

"We were pleased to get off to a winning start against Celtic in Toronto. There were a few young lads in the team and I thought they did well. The manager is always looking to the future and is keen to give the youngsters their chance. Hopefully I’ll get mine over the next couple of weeks."
