Man Utd eyeing Sunderland keeper Gordon

Manchester United are being linked with a surprise move for Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

The Daily Star Sunday says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is considering a move for Sunderland's out-of-favour keeper Gordon, 26.

The Scot signed for a British record £9million from Hearts two years ago but failed to establish himself with the Black Cats.

Within 1 full season and a quarter season (last season) someone has made 2 videos (most clips from Sunderland) of Gordon in action. Craig Gordon looks phenomenal and shows the horrendous'ness of Sunderlands defence

As a Sunderland season ticket holder I have seen Gordon in quite a lot of games, he does not command his penalty box but, is a very good shot stopper. If we could recieve half of what we paid for him I wouldn't hesitate to take it.

Craig Gordon is a wonderful goalkeeper, Sunderland has a shambolic defence.
I don't have to explain how good Craig Gordon is, he has shown his class in glimpses many times for Sunderland.
He always kept Sunderland in games where they should'ave been beaten 5/6-0 90% of the time.
He had a unlucky season last season with injuries, which is a first in his career.
Gordon deserves a better club, like Man U or Arsenal.
