Man Utd, Chelsea alerted as Villa now open to England option

Valencia ace David Villa has opened the door to moving to England.

During the height of last summer's transfer speculation, Villa ruled out leaving Spain, insisting he would only move to Barcelona or Real Madrid if he was to be sold by Valencia.

AS says, however, Villa has been convinced by his confidants that a move to England would be good for him and he is now open to the prospect.

Valencia sports chief Fernando Gomez admitted this week, with the club €550 million in debut, that fans may have to be prepared for their stars to be sold.

Interestingly, Manchester United and Chelsea had scouts in the stands in Madrid on Saturday to see Villa turn out for Spain against Argentina.

Re: Kevin. i agree mate ***** like Bestie don't no *****-all but act as a cocky club manager or spokesman for the club! No doubt with Ronaldo, teams such as Burnley and Sunderland who took points of us this season, with all respect did'nt stand a chance against United. The boy was a great on destroying avarage teams, his records speaks? Villa or Aguero could bring back some spark to Utd!!!

Re: Bestie. I hate ***** like you who keep saying United don't need Villa, Silva or Aguero? ***** don't u see United have not only missed Ronaldo's goals, they are missing his link-up with Rooney, his free kicks, his headers, his awesome finishing, that we missed against Chelsea and his ruthless-ness against small teams likes Burnley? No doubt United need a Villa, Silva or Aguero type player. What has Nani the ***** done since Ron? Macheda and Wellbk are'nt ready 2 lead us yet in the CL!!!!

aguero, villa and silva please chelsea
