Man Utd boss Ferguson: Xabi sale not to blame for Liverpool woes

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't believe the sale of Xabi Alonso sparked Liverpool's problems this season.

Many fans believe Xabi's move to Real Madrid is why Liverpool have struggled this term.

But Ferguson says: "I am not sure about that. I am not sure. I think he is a good player, obviously."

Surely we miss his prensence

to be fair, most of the liverpool fans i know don't blame it on alonso leaving. i'm not sure who you've been talking to. maybe you've just been making it up in your head. you do realise that man utd are playing like crap, right? the only reason they're near the top of the table is because every other team is playing like shit too, but unlike the other teams man utd don't have the cash to improve for next season. watch out for chelski and your blue half.
