Man Utd boss Ferguson tips Graham for Scotland

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says George Graham should be given the Scotland job.

Ferguson believes Graham is the man to revive Scotland’s fortunes – if he can be persuaded to take the job.

Ferguson said: “There has been about 37 names mentioned for the Scotland job -–and what I’d like to know is why George Graham wasn’t included.

“Maybe George hasn’t got the inclination to do it because I have seen him quoted saying the right job had passed him by.

“I haven’t spoken to George for a while, so I don’t know what he’s doing or his plans.

“But he is a really good manager. He is strong, is disciplined and just the man Scotland need.”

Graham, 64, has been out of the game since being axed by Spurs in 2001.
