Man Utd boss Ferguson ready to include Giggs for Liverpool clash
Ryan Giggs is expected to be fit for Manchester United in time for Sunday's clash with Liverpool.
The Sun says the Manchester United veteran has not played since fracturing his arm at Aston Villa a month ago.
But he took part in his first full contact training stint yesterday morning. And, after coming through with flying colours, boss Alex Ferguson is set to throw him straight back in for the showdown with their arch-rivals.
Giggs, 36, had a plate inserted in the arm, which will stay in until the summer, and a light cast that was removed last week.
His fitness levels were not in doubt, after sessions in the pool to keep them high. But the coaching staff needed to check out his match sharpness.
And the manner in which he proved himself yesterday delighted Fergie, as United go into a game they desperately need to win in their hunt for a record four Premier League titles on the bounce.
