Man Utd boss Ferguson questions Hull dismissal of Brown

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was disappointed to see Phil Brown sacked at Hull City this week.

Ferguson says the expectations at Hull are unrealistic.

"The word sympathy is a bit strong," he said. "You feel for any manager who doesn't do well.

"Phil Brown was sacked during the week. Yet given the players and potential of his team, I am not sure anyone expected that Hull would be in anything other than a dog-fight this season.

"It happens every season. It is not something new."

doesn't change the fact that he's the manager who decided to play the youngsters. they could have easily turned out crap or get moved on. he is a bit of an idiot, but he makes a good point here. what the hell are hull expecting? over-ambitious just like newcastle were/are and their manager sackings landed them in the championship.

When we want your opinions fergie well give them to you.... i seem to remember you being 1 game away from the sack then the youngsters came through who werent of your doing...very lucky for someone permanently sozzled on red wine..hic
