Man Utd boss Ferguson: I know Kuszczak will be upset

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson knows Tomasz Kuszczak will be upset to be dropped today for Edwin van der Sar.

The Pole has impressed in the Dutchman's absence.

“People point to the defensive record of last season and our back four but you have to look at Van der Sar,” Ferguson said. “I know that for a young lad like Tomasz Kuszczak it will be disappointing. He has been doing well, but Edwin can’t last for ever, of course, and these moments should be cherished by Tomasz in terms of learning from someone like him.”
