Man Utd boss Ferguson confident getting best from Man City’s Richards

Manchester United are lining up a shock raid for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

The Mirror says the City hierarchy have become increasingly concerned by the defender’s erratic performances.

City staff also have worries over the attitude of the former England starlet, who has 12 caps.

And if City decide to offload the versatile defender, then United are ready to bid for him.

Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a huge admirer of Richards and tried to sign him when he first broke on the scene.

Ferguson is considering his options at right-back with growing concerns about Gary Neville’s fitness and Rafael Da Silva’s ability.

Ferguson believes his strict man-management could control Richards and United are hoping to do business if City will sell to them.

he's shit, my grand ma can take him out of the way. He's no good 4 Man Utd @ all. Tribalbullshit..... crap stories..

Liverpool would be daft not to get him he can play anywhere in back i no this because he used to play with him in chapltown when he was a kid he knows the lester one of the family use to train him and u no he's never give them nothing not a ticket f a match nothing think it's Paul use to train him he's never give him anything or the lesters nothing

Problem is, Liverpool cannot afford Micah Richards. In fact, they can't buy until they sell. I've always thought he'd be worth having from City, but it depends on the money more than anything. £10m would be the most I'd want to see bid for him. Any more and Villa or whoever can have him.
