Man Utd boss Ferguson to check on AC Milan this week

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will be in Italy on Friday to check on AC Milan.

The first Champions League leg between United and AC Milan is at the San Siro on Tuesday week.

Ferguson expects David Beckham to be involved for Milan, stating: “I am certain when David comes to Old Trafford for the second leg he will get a great reception. He deserves that.

“All our great players who have served us well are always given a good reception by the fans. David was a great player at Manchester United. He was terrific and played a major part in our success.”
