Man Utd add fan number 4M to Facebook to take English crown from Liverpool

Manchester United welcomed 'friend' number 4 million to their Facebook page today.

FCBusiness.co.uk reports United only launched their Facebook presence two months ago, but have already taken Liverpool’s (3,064,723) crown as England’s most followed club on the social network website.

However, they still have some way to go to catch up with Spanish Giants Real Madrid who have 5,059,719 fans on their facebook page and Barcelona who have 6,030,287. And they are still playing catch up to Turkish outfit Galatasaray FC who have 4,607,163.
