Man Utd ace Rooney facing gauntlet of hate: First Everton then Liverpool

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney faces a massive test of character when the Premier League resumes this weekend.

With cruel timing, United travel to Rooney’s former club, Everton, where he always endures a hostile reception from fans who have never forgiven him for moving to Old Trafford in a £27million deal in August 2004.

A week after the Everton game, Rooney will have to brace himself for more abuse when United face Liverpool, although at least that game is at Old Trafford. In between the two matches, United take on Scottish champions Rangers in the Champions League.

Boo F*cking Hoo. Get over yourself pig rooney.

As a Liverpool supporter, I'd be the first to say I hate Rooney... but "hate" only comes when it is somebody who either totally wronged you or has incredible talent. Rooney fits the second, and you'd have to be a fool to think Rooney is ruined. It is a ridiculous thought. He is an amazing footballer who ANYBODY wishes they could have on their team. I certainly wish Torres had a partner up front like him.

People who are upset about the man-utd hating need to take a good look in the mirror, as well... it seems as if man-u supporters spend more time on the liverpool forums than on their own. When things go wrong at United, which is not very often mind you, people can certainly have a pop if they want to... and you shouldn't worry about it. You are the ones with all the success, so what is the big deal?

every millions of united fans are up wiz u Rooney.. no f*ucking piece of sh*it can take that away from u.. UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!
