Man Utd’s Gibson: We bounced back well

Manchester United’s Carling Cup quarter-final hero Darron Gibson believes the squad’s youngsters atoned for their Champions League loss to Besiktas last week.
Sir Alex Ferguson again played an inexperienced group, keeping faith with those that went down to the Turkish outfit and Gibson, who scored both goals in the 2-0 win, was happy with how the second string team responded.
"It was a good team performance following last week. We bounced back and the young lads did well,” Republic of Ireland international told Sky Sports.
"We didn't go out to try and prove anything. Sometimes you have bad days and today was a good day."
