Man City's Adebayor: I love Wenger, I've nothing against Arsenal

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor insists he "loves" Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Adebayor can't wait until the Carling Cup quarter-finals bring the visit of his old team Arsenal.

He told City's website: "I love Arsene Wenger, and I will always keep that love for Arsene - he is the person who made me what I am today.

"I just want to show him what he has taught me in the three years that I was there, and that is the main thing I will keep in mind for the quarter-final next month."

Adebayor added: "What happened last time is gone. I've told everybody I am sorry for the incident. I made a mistake. We all make mistakes, then you correct them. It won't happen again.

"I was at Arsenal for years and I have nothing against them, the emotion just took over. I have so many good memories of my time there. It's going to be a good feeling for me to play against them."

The Arsenal fans who made absolute cocks of themselves in CoMS deserve to be put in the firing line for crimes against their country.

Adebayor admitted he overreacted and apologised - move the ***** on.
