Manchester City midfielder James Milner admits he's grateful for the leadership of England teammate Steven Gerrard.
There's calls for the Liverpool skipper to be made permanent England captain.
Milner said: "We're lucky to have Steven Gerrard and he's shown his leadership skills. Not everyone has to be a shouter. He leads by example with or without the ball, and he'll have a word and shout when it needs to be done. I'm lucky to have someone like that to look up to and learn from."
