Man City watching Athletic Bilbao star Javi Martinez

Manchester City are eyeing Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez.

AS says City boss Roberto Mancini believes that Martinez will boost the quality of his midfield and is prepared to meet the £25 million buy out clause in the midfielder's contract.

Only this morning, Martinez has also been linked with Real Madrid for the summer market.

The midfielder is currently the Spain U21 captain.

A lot of clubs will go in for Javi Martinez if Man City make an offer. He's a talented player.
