Man City keeper Hart: I can handle any England gaffe

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says he can handle any future England gaffe.

It is the question Hart has been asked more than any other this week.

"How would you react if you made a blunder like Rob Green's?"

He faced it again at a Press conference at the England team hotel in Hertfordshire.

Ahead of his first competitive start for the Three Lions against Bulgaria at Wembley tomorrow, keeper Hart said: "I have been asked that question so many times this week but I can't think 'What will I do if this goes wrong?'

"That is a terrible way to think. I just have to go out there, try to do my best and believe in what I can do.

"That attitude has got me this far, so I just have to try to carry it on.

"If something does happen, I would have to cross that bridge and remain strong and confident in myself that it would be something I could just sweep under the carpet."
