Malouda hails attacking system of Chelsea boss Ancelotti

Florent Malouda says Chelsea's free-scoring ways are down to the tactics of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Florent Malouda says Chelsea's free-scoring ways are down to the tactics of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The players who started as the front three in the opening games, Malouda, Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, already have eight goals between them. Something is working well as the team attack.

"Because of the quality of the system and the experience that we have had in the past, that is why we have improved our movement up front," Malouda told chelseafc.com.

"But it is not all about these three strikers. When Salomon Kalou came on he scored two goals and he could feel where the ball could be.

"When the manager explains something tactically, everybody is aware of it and we feel really comfortable in the system. We are trying to move all the time and at the end of the game Didier was deep on the pitch and other people were taking his position.

"All the players are training this really well but we stay calm because we have just started the league. We know that people will speak about the fact that we have scored a lot of goals but we know you win the league at the end of the season."
