Malbranque playing his way into Sunderland stay

Steed Malbranque is playing his way into staying at Sunderland.

Less than a month ago, Malbranque appeared on his way out of Sunderland after clashing with manager Steve Bruce.

But the midfielder has been outstanding in recent games and Bruce told safc.com: "Steed is a creative influence and he's taken his chance well."
