Senegalese striker Macoumba Kandji is wanted by Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers.
The Sun says the highly-rated New York Red Bulls ace, 24, has impressed in pre-season friendly matches against both Manchester City and Tottenham this month.
And the 6ft 4in forward is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
