Lyon's Delgado: Liverpool don't know what they're doing
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 11/03/2009 - 07:39
Lyon midfielder Cesar Delgado has laid the boot into Champions League opponents Liverpool.
Delgado's late winner at Anfield put Lyon top of Group E with nine points to Liverpool's three.
And he said: "It won't surprise me if we beat them again. People thought Liverpool would be a fixture in the quarter-finals but now we make sure they are left out.
"The problem for Liverpool is they are so inconsistent, with huge differences in the levels of their performances.
"We have analysed them against Manchester United and Fulham and they are like two different teams.
"Nobody could doubt that we are the best team in the group. We can go a very long way."
