Liverpool, Villa eyeing off Sunderland talent

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce knows he faces a battle to keep his squad together.

The Sunday Mirror says Kenwyne Jones and combative midfielder Lee Cattermole have also been attracting attention from Liverpool and Aston Villa, while much-coveted teenager Jordan Henderson is being tracked by several top-four sides, including Chelsea.

But the financial clout of billionaire Ellis Short - who has injected about £80m into Sunderland over the last 18 months – means Bruce is perfectly positioned to resist offers for his top talent.

even the fecking title doesn't make sense ? gotta be hope for me if someone is getting paid to write such rubbish littered with so many mistakes ?

sunderland have a stronger financial backing than liverpool or villa . . . so why would we need to sell to them ? its more likely sunderland signing gerrard than liverpool signing cattermole, and more likely we would sign any of villas star players than them nicking ours !

the only players sunderland will sell in the summer are the ones stev bruce CHOOSES to sell

get your facts right, muppets !

article writing on here is utter b*llocks like.
