Liverpool revive interest for Real Madrid's Heinze

Liverpool are being linked with Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze.

The Daily Star Sunday says Real are in the market for a new left-back as they prepare to sell Heinze at the end of the season.

Heinze, 31, could end up at Liverpool.

That's where Heinze originally wanted to go but former club Manchester United wouldn't sell him to their bitter rivals and he moved to Madrid for £8m two years ago.
