Liverpool planning shock Man Utd raid for superkid Cofie

Liverpool are planning a shock raid on Manchester United for teenage sensation John Cofie.

The People says Cofie, 17, born in Ghana, joined United from Burnley two years ago and is rated one of Sir Alex Ferguson's best emerging strikers - he is already in the reserve team picture.

But the Kop was his preferred destination before he left Burnley and he may be tempted to quit Old Trafford for Anfield, where he could be fast-tracked into the first team as the club are desperate to land top young talent to build a new team.

This piece of black scum is worthless. We don't want him.

i watch all the academy games on mutv, he is decent, a bit of a carlton cole. definitely NOT one of the best young forwards we have. that honour goes to william keane or joshua king. there is alo macheda aand welbeck. king and keane are younger than cofie but are already regulars in the reserves. cofie still not even made his debut. neat strong and fast, but doesnt score many goals. they can have him to be honest. kean and king much much better.trust me.

If he was any good Fergie would put him into our first team. If he is no good Liverpool can have him, after all they will need to build a team up as they will not be playing Champions League football next season so they can use 2nd rate players. That is a luxury United cannot afford.
