Liverpool icon Thommo: Scrub Mascherano from our history books
Liverpool icon Phil Thompson wants Javier Mascherano to be "scrubbed from the club's history books"!
In his column for the Liverpool Echo, Thommo wrote: "Mascherano completed his move to Barcelona and the least said about him the better. After he refused to play against City, I don’t want to even remember Mascherano as a Liverpool player. He should be scrubbed from the club’s history books.
"I said last week the club had to stand their ground and ensure he didn’t go on the cheap. By agreeing a deal that could be worth £22million I think they did that. But the way Mascherano conducted himself highlighted everything that’s wrong about some modern day professionals."
Today is a big day for Liverpool, with Anfield to host Everton for Jamie Carragher's testimonial.

To the Liverpool Board members and the entire Liverpool fans around the globe, Marcherano has made a great mistake ever in his entire football career by the the way he left the club in unconducted manner. Anyway, one thing for sure, he will live to regrete it. my regards to our Great captain Steve Gerrard, Fernando Torres and the rest for keeping the club intact, they have done a great job that in our history we will never forget them. We will Never Walk Alone.
he was never more than average for us a stopper only no passing game ,little vision, no shot we got 22 mil for him and brought a much better player let it go hes gone who cares
@Anonymous on Sat, 09/04/2010 - 07:54. , you are so naive. he was able to play hard against arsenal and not at all for man city? is this mindly disturbed? he was well aware that he will not leave on the cheap. he is unprofessional and his ways undignified. just speak for yourself and shut up. i all for not mentioning masch at all.
