Liverpool boss Benitez: I don’t know why Johnson is criticised

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has jumped to the defence of fullback Glen Johnson.

Benitez can't understand the constant criticism.

The Kop boss said: "I am surprised everybody is still asking about Glen because he is one of the best in Europe.

"When you analyse the strengths and weaknesses in his game he is really good and the problems he has are not as bad as people think.

"Going forward he is a threat and we have to develop his defence and improve on a bit of everything.

"But when you talk with him about something, he knows and tries to do it. You can't change everything in one second so he will improve."

loserpool if u want a trophy so badly just keep doing what ur doing, keep losing, 1 win in 9 games, pffffffff wtf is that? ur disgrace to european football... keep doing what ur doing, and surely you will win the championship trophy next season.

cause some fat spanish waiter spent a ridiculous amount of money for him and hes not good enough to justify it.....
