Liverpool boss Benitez a favourite for Juventus board

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is again in the sights of Juventus.

With Guus Hiddink expressing an ambition to return to England today - with both Liverpool and Chelsea keen - Juve are turning to Benitez as a potential replacement for Ciro Ferrara, says Tuttosport.

Any move for Benitez is unlikely to happen until June, with Liverpool insisting the manager is safe, while Juve chief Roberto Bettega gave Ferrara a vote of confidence last night.

Benitez, fluent in Italian, is regarded highly by Juve powerbroker John Elkann.
