Liverpool big winners if Portsmouth go bust

Liverpool would be the big winners if Portsmouth go bust this season.

The Sun says if hard-up Pompey go out of business, they will move into the top four.

Rock-bottom Portsmouth face a winding-up order next week over unpaid taxes.

If they cannot carry on, Premier League rules state that all their results would be wiped out and 19 teams would complete the season - with two going down.

That means West Ham, who have taken four points off Pompey, would now be bottom. Arsenal and Manchester City would also end up as big losers, being docked six points each.

The only fooking way Liverpool will move up is if more teams go bust - good strategy!
