Lippi: Mancini will win over Man City players
Outrage from two of City's most consistent performers Craig Bellamy and Shay Given over the untimely sacking of boss Mark Hughes has threatened to tear Eastlands apart before Mancini even got his slippers under his new desk.
But Lippi said: "All Italian coaches are very good at organising teams and creating a feeling of harmony. Mancini has a lot of experience at dealing with big players.
"It is normal for people to have problems over change but Mancini just needs time to smooth things over.
"But I cannot tell you if he will get to the Champions League. No one can predict that. He is experienced but it is a very hard league in England."
