Lineker can see Man City, Liverpool going for Mourinho
Tottenham legend Gary Lineker is convinced Jose Mourinho will leave Inter Milan for a return to the Premiership next season.
In his column for the Mail on Sunday, Lineker wrote: "The unpalatable truth for Mourinho is that there is a big difference between English and Italian football right now. Manchester United proved it last week and although Inter are better than AC Milan and Chelsea have injuries to key players, that gap is likely to show up again at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
"I like Mourinho and life in the Premier League has been duller without him. I expect to see him back in August, probably at Manchester City or Liverpool, and I’d welcome it.
"But when he dominates the agenda in the next few days, let’s remember all Mourinho can do with his ‘mind games’ is try to increase Inter’s chances of holding on to a 2-1 lead. He can’t go out on the pitch and score goals."
