Lescott likely to miss Man City v Everton clash

Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is likely to miss the clash with his former club Everton after injuring himself during the warm-up prior to Sunday’s match at Fulham.

City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed that Lescott would require a scan to discover the extent of the problem but said he would miss the next match.

"Joleon had a problem before the game in the warm-up, a muscle," said Mancini.

"I think he can't play against Everton. At the moment I don't know how long he'll be out. He'll have a scan."
