Cristian Ledesma insists he could still stay with Lazio.

“I am not worried about the reaction of the fans, because I know I have always been clear and never behaved badly,” said Ledesma.

“The last time I spoke to the President was in pre-season training. We had cleared the air and there was no break-up in our rapport.

“According to the club, I was not picked for the Italian Super Cup because of a decision made by the Coach.

“I have never said I wanted to leave Lazio at all costs. We had found a point of unity in June, spoke again a month later, then there was no other news.

“I will accept everything the club wants, but I just want some clarity on my situation.”
