A-League’s Breeze to referee ACL final

A-League referee Matthew Breeze has been appointed to oversee Saturday’s Asian Champions League final.
Breeze will be the number one referee for the match between Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad and Korean club Pohang Steelers which will take place in Tokyo.
Fellow Australians Matthew Cream and Ben Wilson will be the assistant referees and another Australian, Peter Green will be the fourth official for the final at the National Stadium.
Breeze, who has been a part of the A-League since its inception in 2005, has already had experience at major tournaments, refereeing at the last two Confederations Cup competitions in Germany and South Africa.
