Lavicka: Sydney Football Stadium surface not ideal
The Sky Blues are back at home this Sunday against Gold Coast United before spending the next two matches at the venue with one being a midweeker on September 29 and the other a Monday night clash on October 4.
Lavicka says the surface could be better but was full of hope that the SFS ground staff would improve things over the next week or so.
"It's not optimal," he said. "But I don't want to complain, it's the same conditions for both teams. We played here before the season [in the festival of football] and it was tough conditions.
"Also rugby season is finishing now ... but it's difficult of course. We have a midweek game on Wednesday but I hope the grounds men will do a good job and set up everything."
The ground will then be used for the Australia v Paraguay international friendly on Saturday October 9, indicating the importance of having a good playing surface ready.
