Former Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has lodged legal proceedings against his ex-employers as he attempts to gain compensation for what he regards as unfair dismissal.

His case will be heard at an employment tribunal in the capital in the autumn, reports the Telegraph.

"I have been instructed to act for Mr Laszlo in this matter," said employment law specialist Margaret Gribbon, of Ross Harper. "It would be inappropriate to say anything else at this time."

Laszlo was sacked in January and immediately replaced by another former manager, Jim Jefferies.

Laszlo had 18 months remaining on his contract and is believed to be suing the club for a six-figure sum.
