Lambert targets promotion via the play-offs for Southampton

Southampton striker Rickie Lambert has his sights set on League One play-off place.

Saints have finally found some form following a tough start to the season and made it four games unbeaten with Saturday's 2-0 win over Bournemouth, in which Lambert scored twice from the penalty spot.

"We've been working very hard to turn our form round," he said.

"It's starting to turn around now and we want to get as close to the play-offs as quick as we can."
