Kuszczak wins over Man Utd boss Ferguson

Tomasz Kuszczak has convinced Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson he deserves promotion.

The Mirror says Kuszczak, until recently considered third choice, started his second game in a row in the Carling Cup win over Spurs on Tuesday with Ben Foster failing to even make the bench.

Rival Premier League clubs tracking a loan move for Kuszczak have now been told he will be staying as back-up to van der Sar.
