Sydney FC’s Korean signing Byun Sung-Hwan has arrived back in the city for his first official training session.
The 29-year old became a Sky Blues player on June 25th and took part in his first session as an official player yesterday.
The former Jeju United defender is excited about his first season in Australia’s A-League.
“Sydney team is good team. Good quality, good technicians, good coaching system,” said Sung-Hwan. “Style (of play) is simple and attacking. Very good system, (which) suits my style.
“K-League and A-League (are) very similar I think,” he added.
“Before, I came (to Sydney FC) I think K-League stronger – more technical, more physical - but (now) I see A-League and K-League (are) very similar standard.”
