Kia likens Chelsea signing Ramires to Liverpool captain Gerrard

Kia Joorabchian is backing new Chelsea signing Ramires to take the Premier League by storm.

Ramires moves to Chelsea for €22 million with Joorabchian earning a nice windfall after buying a percentage of his contract last year.

"Ramires is a very dynamic player. If I had to compare him with someone in England, I would say he is a similar type of player to Steven Gerrard," said Joorabchian.

"He will have a big, big impact in the Premier League. He has lots of energy, never stops and is a great fighter. Runs for 90 minutes. He will be a success in the English Premiership and will be a major signing for the club."
