Kakuta confident handling Chelsea expectations
The French Under-19 international is determined to succeed at Stamford Bridge and admits he is not worried by all the attention he's received since he hit the headlines.
He told Chelsea TV: "I don't think about it at all. I just focus on my work and that's it.
"My aim for this season is just to play all the time and be in the squad.
"I am improving every day because I am learning from the big players and I watch them every day. I feel very good and the players make me feel very comfortable. I look up to all of them.
"The manager [Carlo Ancelotti] told me I was going to start against Apoel and it was a good thing for me to do it in the Champions League. I have been waiting for that since I was young. It is a big thing for me.
"It matters to me that we didn't win because it was the first game I started. I wanted to win the game so it was a bit hard, but I will keep working."
