Japan international Shinji Kagawa scored for the third-straight match for German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

The 21-year old midfielder struck in the 50th minute for his side’s 3-1 away win over St Pauli but preferred not to take the credit for the goal.

"I didn't have to do much (for the goal)," said Kagawa who also set up the 17th minute opener for Kevin Grosskreutz. "I think everyone deserves credit for that one."

Kagawa now has four goals in six league matches this season as his side remains second on the table with five wins, a game behind league leaders Mainz who they take on this weekend.

He is also closing in on the European scoring record by a Japanese player in one season which is currently 11 goals held by Naohiro Takahara for Frankfurt in 2006/07.
